So, since I can't micro-blog right now, I'll have to create a long overdue regular blog post.
The founding fathers of our nation would be ashamed!
For if men are to be precluded from offering their sentiments on a matter, which may involve the most serious and alarming consequences, that can invite the consideration of mankind, reason is of no use to us; the freedom of speech may be taken away, and, dumb and silent we may be led, like sheep, to the Slaughter ~~~~~George Washington
Experience hath shewn, that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny ~~~~~Thomas Jefferson
Our founding fathers were well studied in the history of dictatorship....after all, that is all the world had ever known. Their vision for a free people was new and radical. Furthermore, over time, we proved that free people are happy people. And happy people are successful people.
However, there will always be the feeble-minded that NEED dictatorship in their lives. They need someone telling them what they can say and when they can say it.
Woody Allen, who has lived a controversial life and produced, what I consider to be, rubbish films has now stated for the record that he feels Obama would make a nice dictator.
Read about Woody Allen's dictator statements here
And the Heritage Foundation shares all the details about the FCC's desire to take over and regulate the internet. WHAT????
Read about the FCC power grab here
And if that's not enough, Obama wants us to only trust what he says. All other information will just confuse you. Only trust what he says.........after all, he is so well versed and can speak with such eloquence.
Listen to Obama's speech here
So, he claims he doesn't know how to work an ipod, but
read here about his gift to the queen of England.....an ipod.
But back to the matter at hand, Obama's desire to socialize America. Social justice is what he wants & he will stop at nothing to get what he wants. His ability to ram through a healthcare bill that Americans overwhelmingly didn't want was his first mistake. And you can see here that our founding fathers realized that this could happen if the wrong people tried to gain too much power.
If the minority, and a small one too, is suffered to dictate to the majority, after measures have undergone the most solemn discussions by the representatives of the people, and their will through this medium is enacted into a law, there can be no security for life, liberty, or property; nor, if the laws are not to govern, can any man know how to conduct himself in safety. ~~~~George Washington
It will be of little avail to the people that the laws are made by men of their own choice if the laws be so voluminous that they cannot be read, or so incoherent that they cannot be understood ~~~~James Madison
So, what we have in Washington now are career minded politicians. People that realize the benefits of holding an elected position.....and the perks, privileges, and lifestyle. They are no longer servants of the people.
See for yourself.......these people will do whatever they must to get re-elected.
They will change parties....
Listen here, in his own words
They will lie! Blumenthal lies about his service in Vietnam.
Check out Blumenthal's lies
What else will they do to our beloved nation?
If you have NOT been involved until now, please become involved. Tell your friends, tell your neighbors. If not for yourself, think of the future generations. Our nation has always been the beacon........the standard that the world looks to for leadership & guidance.
Now, we are destined for a coup d'etat. For in the words of Thomas Jefferson:
The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government
and he also said
Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state.
And to end this post, I'll state that Arizona's law was short & understandable and that they are protecting their citizens. I think our forefathers would be proud of Arizona. And so am I.
